After graduating from LaGuardia, many of our students seek out transfer to a four-year institution. However, navigating the transfer process alone can be a daunting task. If you need help in your transfer application process, the Honors Program has got you covered.

Honors Program students are ambitious, driven, and successful individuals. After their time at LaGuardia, students who have taken two or more Honors Courses often transfer to four-year institutions. These institutions include, but are not limited to:

The LaGuardia Community College Foundation provides several options for students to receive aid. From the Foundation Scholarship, Emergency Aid, to programs like President's Society, students can seek out support in their academic endeavors. The Jack Kent Cooke Transfer Scholarship awards $55,000 per year to community college students who transfer to 4-year universities. LaGuardia has produced 14 Cooke Scholars, with 2 graduating students having recently won in the 2022 application cycle.
