Noam Scheindlin received his doctorate from the Graduate Center, City University of New York, in Comparative Literature, in 2010. As a teacher, Noam approaches literature as one of the frameworks by which meaning is both constructed and transmitted.

Dr. Jaafar’s diverse teaching portfolio includes classes for STEM majors, the Honors Program, and the Liberal Arts. Her scholarly activities are diverse and include theoretical Physics, assessment of high-impact practices, and Equity-focused student success analytics.
Reem Jaafar, PhD
Math, Engineering, and Computer Science department
Since 2012, Dr. Kietlinski has taught courses in world and East Asian history at LaGuardia. Her research focuses on intersections of sport and society in modern Japan and she has published over two dozen articles and a book on aspects of Japan’s long history with the Olympic Movement.
